Calculate before you print. That's it.
We're building the calculator and marketplace for 3D printing. The premise is simple: every STL has a real cost in time, filament, and €. Knowing it before you press Print saves an evening, a spool, and a coffee conversation that starts with "ugh".
The same engine your printer uses, ahead of time.
Our backend runs your mesh through the manufacturer's reference profile for the printer + filament you pick. Layer height, perimeters, infill, retraction — all calibrated against the same defaults Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer, or Creality Print would use at home.
That's why our time and gram numbers match within ~5% of the real print on a tuned machine. We don't guess with a volume × density formula.
Subscriptions. Lock-in. Padded estimates.
- No monthly fee — tokens never expire, you pay only for the calculations you run.
- No proprietary file formats — STL/OBJ/3MF/PLY/GLB in, PDF/G-code estimates out.
- No padding — when the slicer says 1h 48m, we say 1h 48m, not 'around 2 hours'.
Three numbers that summarise the bet.
Time / gram delta vs. the real print on a calibrated machine.
Upload → priced report. Most STLs land in under 10 seconds.
Starter rate. Drops to €0.24 on Studio volumes.
Why this exists.
Three things kept happening to people we know:
- 01Print starts. Coffee gets cold.
You hit Print thinking it's 2 hours. Six hours later you check on it. The slicer knew. It just lived on your laptop, not in your pocket.
- 02Filament price went up. Quotes didn't.
Etsy sellers, prop makers, small shops — pricing recalculated by hand once a quarter, never matching the spool you actually loaded.
- 03PLA or PETG? Eyeball it.
You can run the same model with 4 filaments in our calculator, get 4 lines back with cost + time + weight. The decision becomes 30 seconds, not 30 minutes of forum threads.
Four rules we use to make product calls.
If we display a value, it came from a real slice — never a fudge factor over volume × density.
Calc errors reverse the token charge automatically. You only pay for reports that actually land.
Set €/kg per material in your account. Calculator uses your numbers, not platform defaults.
Every cost line is decomposed: filament + base machine cost. No 'service fee' surprises.
Shipped vs. on the way.
Public-facing milestones. The project is built in phases — calculator first, marketplace next.
