Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes when and how you can request a refund for token-package purchases on Printastic.

1. 14-day refund window

You can request a refund for any token-package purchase within 14 days of the transaction date. After 14 days, refunds are no longer available.

2. What's refundable

  • Unused tokens only. Tokens that have already been spent on calculations are not refundable. We refund the unused balance from that specific purchase.
  • Original payment method. Refunds go back to the Credit Card you used to make the purchase. We don't refund to a different card or account.
  • Currency. Refunds are processed in the same currency as the original transaction (EUR).

3. How to request a refund

From your billing page:

  • Go to cabinet → Tokens & billing.
  • Find the transaction in the list and click Refund (visible only on transactions ≤14 days old with sufficient unused balance).
  • Confirm the amount. The request goes to our admin queue for review.

Most requests are decided within 1 business day. On approval the funds appear on your card within 3-5 business days depending on your bank.

4. Auto-refunds for failed calculations

If a calculation fails on our side (server error, mesh-load crash, slicer timeout) we automatically reverse the token charge against your account — no request needed. You'll see the credit appear in your transaction list within seconds.

5. Reasons we may decline

  • The 14-day window has elapsed.
  • All tokens from that purchase have already been spent on successful calculations.
  • Account abuse — multiple buy/refund cycles to extract free usage.
  • Chargebacks already in flight with the issuing bank (we wait for the bank's decision in that case).

6. EU consumer rights

As a digital service supplier in the EU, we honour the 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU. Note that this right can be waived for digital content if you've already used it (consumed tokens) — which is why our policy refunds the unused balance specifically.
